Free Knots Training — Terms of Access

These terms govern your access to the free knots training offered by Climbing Mastery Media Inc. (“Climbing Mastery,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By ticking the agreement box on the application and using the training, you accept the terms below. If you do not agree, do not proceed and do not use the training. Your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

1Educational content only

This training provides information and education about climbing knots. It is not professional instruction, coaching, guiding, or supervision, and it is not a substitute for hands-on training with a certified instructor. The knots shown are how the creator personally ties and uses them — not a guaranteed “correct” or “safe” method.

2Assumption of risk

Climbing, and any reliance on knots, is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury, permanent disability, or death, including from a knot being tied, dressed, or loaded incorrectly. If you act on anything in this training, you do so entirely at your own risk. Always verify every knot in person with a qualified, certified professional before trusting it with weight or life.

3Release & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Climbing Mastery Media Inc. and its owner disclaim all liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of this content, and you agree not to hold us liable. Nothing here creates a duty of care, an instructor relationship, or any guarantee of safety or results.

4Intellectual property

All materials are owned by Climbing Mastery Media Inc. and provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, or republish them. No license to reuse is granted. Any third-party names, brands, gear, or content referenced remain their owners’ property; mention is not endorsement, and we accept no liability for third-party content.

5Hosting

The training is delivered on Skool. Your use of that platform is also subject to Skool’s own terms.

6Your agreement & how we record it

Before you receive your invite, you tick a box confirming you have read and agree to these terms. When you do, we record your email address, the date and time of acceptance, and the version of these terms you agreed to, together with your application record. This is how we (and you) can confirm what was agreed and when. To request a copy or removal of your record, email hello@climbingmastery.com — see our Privacy Policy for your full rights.

7Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our practices or the law change. We’ll post the revised version here and update the version number and effective date at the top. The version you agreed to at the time of your application is the one that applies to you.
